Coventry City suffered a heavy loss on their return to the top flight after a 23-year absence as Arsenal proved far too strong in their Premier League opener.
The Gunners were ahead within the opening quarter of an hour and doubled their advantage shortly after, leaving the newly-promoted side with an uphill battle from the start.
